Uniform Policy
Girls’ (5th – 12th grade) Uniforms:
CCA desires to keep a high standard to honor the Lord in all we do, including uniform choices. Uniforms allow students to have fewer distractions in class.
5th-12th Gr. Girls’ Informal/Everyday Uniforms: Any combination of the following items may be worn year-round except for designated Chapel days. Informal/Everyday uniforms may be worn on days when Chapel is not scheduled or has been cancelled.
o Polo: long or short sleeve, with collar, solid colors only, cotton material (NO pockets, no dry wicking material, brand name emblems) (any vendor)
o Long pants- Navy or Khaki, pleated or flat front, classic or boot cut (NO skinny, cargo, holes, rips, embellishments) (any vendor)
o Double Wrap Pleated Adjustable Waist Skort- Navy or Khaki (You can find these at Reads in Hickory (1616 Tate Blvd. Hickory, NC 28602 (828) 277-6380) where you can try on samples (or you can order them online at shop.readsuniforms.net/educationnc hover your cursor over the icon with the school name, click and type in Code: ccanc then click sign in.
o Bermuda Short- Navy or Khaki, pleated or flat front (NO skinny, cargo, holes, rips, embellishments) (any vendor)
o Socks- must be visible and worn with all shoe options (NO characters, outlandish designs or sayings) socks need to either match their shoes or uniform shirt.(any vendor)
o Shoes-(any vendor)
§ Tennis shoes-(NO characters, light-ups or outlandish designs) No high tops
§ “Mary Jane” type
§ Ballet/Dress flats
§ Sperry style/deck shoe
*No open toe or boot
o Formal Chapel Uniform-may also be worn on Informal days
5th-12th Gr. Girls’ Formal Chapel Uniform: Must be worn on designated Chapel days year-round. Chapel uniforms may be worn on other days besides Chapel.
o Blouse-Oxford style, White, (short sleeve, ¾ sleeve or long sleeve) (any vendor)

Option 1: Double Wrap Pleated Adjustable Waist Skort by Elderwear 3923- Navy only! (see picture below). (This option will fit short to average height girls)
Option 2: This is a skort option for tall girls that allow extra length. Navy only!
o Sock- Navy or White Knee sock, Navy or white tights or Neutral Plain Hosiery (any vendor)
o Vest- Red (You can find these at Reads in Hickory (1616 Tate Blvd. Hickory, NC 28602 (828) 277-6380) where you can try on samples or you can order them online at shop.readsuniforms.net/educationnc hover your cursor over the icon with the school name, click and type in Code: ccanc then click sign in. o Dress Shoe -Navy Blue, Brown or black leather-like or suede (heels must be less than 2 inches) (any vendor)
*Students need to bring other shoes to change into for recess or PE on Chapel days. Students will change back into Chapel shoes when returning to the classroom.
*All Girl's skorts/skirts must touch the knee, as defined by the crease in the back of the knee. We understand throughout the year the students grow in height. Once a skort/skirt reaches 2 inches above the knee when standing it needs to be replaced.
*If clothing becomes too tight throughout the year it is required to be replaced.
Outerwear: CCA Hoodies, or Fleeces may be worn at any time. Non-CCA coats must be removed upon entering the classroom.
o CCA Fleece Jacket with CCA logo (Debbie's Embroidery)
o CCA Hoodies-pullover or zipped with CCA logo (Debbie's Embroidery)
*Girls-CCA Cardigan-grey with CCA logo (Debbie's Emroidery)

PE Class:
o Grey round collar t-shirt-with or without a pocket can be cotton or dry wicking material
o Navy gym shorts –Champion or Everlast style with a 7 inch or more inseam
o Tennis shoes
Logic/Rhetoric (5th-12th Grade) Girls Chapel Skort (Navy only!)
